Thompson Maltipoo Loves

MALTIPOO TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS

When reserving a Maltipoo from us, you have a couple of options. You are always welcome to visit us and pick up your puppy in person, but we also offer direct delivery to your location.

Delivering to Your Location

We take pride in maintaining a relationship with you even after you take home a puppy from us. As conscientious breeders and experienced puppy counselors, we strive to ensure nothing goes wrong with our puppies. However, certain factors such as genetics, exercise, food, nourishment, and overall care are beyond our control. While we may not be able to guarantee that your puppy will never have a health issue, we guarantee that we will do our best to ensure your new family member is healthy.

For crate transportation, your puppy will travel in a temperature-controlled and pressurized compartment located directly under the cabin. We use Petmate crates, which meet all standards for pet travel as air cargo and are among the safest commercial cargo crates available. The crate is large enough for your pet to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably. Water and food bowls are attached to the inside of the crate’s front door and can be refilled from the outside without opening the door. Small funnels attached to the door make it easier for airport handlers to refill the water bowls, while food can be secured in a plastic bag on top of the crate. The cost of crate transportation varies depending on the distance and typically starts at $100.

Puppy Nanny Delivery

Transportation via a puppy nanny starts at $400, whether by air or ground, and the cost will vary based on the client’s location. With this service, a nanny will accompany and care for your puppy throughout the trip. The puppy will fly with the nanny in the cabin of the plane, rather than in the cargo section.

Traveling with a puppy nanny provides a more comfortable environment for your puppy, and the nanny will ensure your puppy gets potty breaks while on the road.

Exceptions to Our Guarantee

We are thrilled to have brought a healthy, happy puppy into your life, and we seek your cooperation to maintain your puppy’s health. To help ensure this, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Veterinary Examination: Within 2 business days of receiving your puppy, provide us with a copy of the examination report from a licensed veterinarian. Your puppy will arrive with up-to-date, age-appropriate vaccinations, so avoid administering any additional vaccinations within the first ten days of receiving your puppy.

  2. Daily Healthcare and Maintenance: Ensure you follow a daily routine for your puppy’s healthcare and maintenance, including all recommended immunizations and regular veterinary check-ups.

  3. Ongoing Care: Although we de-worm and vaccinate your puppy up to the departure date, continue proper de-worming and regular examinations up to 16 weeks of age or as advised by your veterinarian.

Reserving An Available Puppy For Pick Up.

To hold a puppy while you arrange for pickup, a reservation deposit of $400.00 is required. We accept visits on Tuesdays and Saturdays. By submitting your reservation, you commit fully to adopting the puppy.

Once you’ve selected your puppy and placed your deposit, you have the option to choose a different puppy upon pickup if desired. The $400.00 deposit ensures that your chosen puppy will not be placed with someone else and guarantees that you will purchase the specified puppy.

Puppies are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and we cannot hold puppies without a paid deposit. This deposit secures your puppy and confirms our commitment to you.

Contact us for the reservation document and to make the deposit.

Visiting or picking up your puppy…

We welcome visitors to our home to meet and pick up their puppies. To ensure the health and safety of our puppies, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Pre-Arranged Appointments: Schedule your visit in advance.

  2. Avoid Contact with Other Dogs: Please do not come into contact with other dogs or visit other breeders 3 days prior to your visit. If you have visited a dog park, public park, airport, or highway rest stop, please avoid wearing those shoes to our property. These locations can carry the Parvo virus, which is highly contagious and dangerous for puppies.

  3. Wear Safe Shoes: If you do not have a “safe” pair of shoes, we can provide medical booties to wear over your shoes.

  4. No Other Pets: Do not bring another dog to our property.

This protocol helps us maintain a Parvo-free environment for the health of our adult dogs and puppies. Thank you for your cooperation!
